About The Position

ASRC Federal System Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Custodian to support our Prime program supporting the Naval Research Lab Blossom Point Tracking Facility in Welcome, MD. The Custodian, under general supervision, performs a variety of janitorial duties to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of assigned rooms, buildings, and related facilities. The custodian must have basic cleaning skills, be organized, and effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and team members with a positive attitude. The custodian must be able to work cohesively on a team and communicate with coworkers and customers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Lift at least 30lb and perform moderately heavy manual work
• Operate Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
• Communicate clearly, and take direction
• Work independently and be self-motivated to improve processes
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Individuals must have an interim Secret Clearance to start and be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Sweep, scrub, wax floors
• Vacuum and clean rugs and carpets
• Dust and clean furniture
• Clean and re-stock restrooms
• Clean and organize break room
• Empty waste and re-cycle receptacles
• Wash and dust windows, walls, and blinds
• Operate a variety of electrical cleaning equipment
• Maintain custodial equipment
• Track and order custodial supplies
