About The Position

Fortis Native Group is interviewing for positions of Part-Time Custodian for our contract at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Marietta, Georgia. These positions are fully onsite reporting to the Program Manager.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Must be able to perform tasks such as moving, carrying and storing items
• Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, reach, etc. as required for cleaning
• Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions
• Must be able to work with a team
• Must be able to follow instructions
• Must be reliable and willing to perform assigned daily tasks
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Preference may be extended to qualified Native American Indian candidates in accordance with applicable federal law.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Custodian Leadership and performing the assigned duties.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain bathrooms using specific procedures and products.
• Dust, polish, and wipe furniture.
• Empty and wash garbage bins and deal with recycling procedures when necessary.
• Vacuum flooring throughout facilities using upright or wide area vacuums.
• Help when setting facilities for meetings, events, or classrooms.
• Properly use and maintain power equipment and tools to maintain safety.
• Secure buildings and doors when they are not in use.
• Following instructions regarding chemical use and safety hazards in the workplace.
