About The Position
MalaceHR is seeking experienced Custodians in an commercial/manufacturing environment in Plymouth, MI (5 Mile/Haggerty) 4p-12:30a $15.00/hour. MUST have reliable transportation and GREAT attendance. This is a temporary position for approximately 1 month but may turn into long term.
Requirements
- Previous custodial, janitorial, cleaning experience preferred
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities
- Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans
- Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures
- Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement
- Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
- Sanitize all surfaces.
- Follows the eight-step cleaning procedure
- Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
- Strips, scrubs, buffs, shampoos carpet and refinishes floors
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Removing and Bailing Cardboard
- Moving and stacking Pallets
- Floor cleaning
- Fork truck operation
