About The Position

Hoffer Plastics is seeking a Custodian to join their team. This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the facility, playing a key part in the production of plastic components used in various industries. The company offers full training, extensive benefits, and career potential.

Requirements

• English skills that allow for reading and comprehending labels/instructions.
• Work Independently.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of tools and painting wanted but not needed.
• Experience with power and hand tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean/sanitize washrooms, lunchrooms, office areas.
• Remove snow and salt parking lots and sidewalks.
• May operate compactor/baler as assigned.
• Pick up, sort and weigh scrap.
• Service air filters as needed.
• Various projects/repairs around the building.
• Clean windows and fixtures, strip/wax or buff floors.
• Perform yard work such as planting and weeding.
• Use equipment such as snow blowers, buffers, scrubbers, or sky jack.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
• Continue to grow job specific knowledge and use tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement.
• Comply with safety regulations, safety equipment, and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Perform other related duties/functions as assigned.
