About The Position

As a Custodian at Verde Clean, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and welcoming atmosphere of our facilities. This position is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming space for everyone. Verde Clean is a minority-owned, eco-friendly facilities services company founded in 2019, dedicated to environmental protection and social justice. Requirements

At least one year of janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to use cleaning equipment and knowledge of safety protocols.
Must be able to work independently and interact courteously with others.
Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Must be comfortable using basic cleaning tools and equipment.
Must have vehicle to drive to several locations throughout San Diego.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and counters.
Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
Keep restrooms stocked with essentials like toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
Ensure dispensers are filled and monitor supplies across the facility.
Identify safety hazards and report them to the supervisor.
Maintain a secure and safe environment for building occupants.
Provide courteous, helpful assistance to staff, visitors, and fellow team members, creating a positive and welcoming environment.
