About The Position

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our housekeeping team! Responsibilities include cleaning assigned areas of the university campus, including classrooms, common areas, restrooms, cafeterias, and more. This role requires following all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices, providing friendly and kind service to all individuals on campus, performing cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floors, and performing floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned. The position also involves assisting team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required

Nice To Haves

Custodial experience ( cleaning, housekeeping, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician )
