About The Position
Perform a variety of jobs requiring some judgment and knowledge of simple tools and mechanical aptitude.
Requirements
- Prior custodial experience preferred.
- Reading, writing and mathematical level necessary to competently perform job duties.
- Ability to work well with others in a team.
Responsibilities
- Cleans and keeps in an orderly condition, bathrooms, office building or similar building.
- Empties trash and garbage containers.
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
- Provides minor repairs to lighting, heating and ventilation equipment and notifies supervisor of major repairs.
- Working knowledge of carpentry and plumbing.
- Maintains proper processing of wastewater in the waste treatment area.
- Maintain supplies needed to perform job.
- Understand all safety aspects and follows all safety rules.
