About The Position

The Custodian supervises a small team of forklift drivers to maintain the grounds of a vegetable processing facility. There are two plant facilities that make up the Moses Lake Production Campus. The selected candidate for this role will begin their training at one of these facilities and then will be assigned to one of the two locations after training is complete.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a forklift
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to balance multiple tasks, be flexible and work well under pressure
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment; ability to lead a group of employees
• Ability to work weekends, shift work and overtime

Nice To Haves

• Preferred previous supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Supervises a team of seasonal Grounds Utility Forklift Drivers
• Retrieves pallets and other supplies that are needed for plant processes
• Maintains the appearance of the outside grounds
• Receives supply shipments from vendors
• Manages on-site pallet yard inventory
• Performs other duties as assigned
