Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D
2-3 year of related custodial experience
Positive, proactive approach toward work
Sense of urgency and strong time management skills, to meet deadlines
Good verbal, reading, and written communication skills
Team-oriented and professional
Able to maintain confidentiality if exposed to sensitive information
High level of initiative and dependability
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
Attention to detail and efficient
Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and proper handling of cleaning materials

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in office and shop areas, including locker rooms.
Dust and clean desks, shelves, windows, locker rooms, etc.
Empty trash and dispose of waste according to recycling procedures.
Coordinate dumpster pickup based on the schedule.
Clean and restock restrooms, maintain common areas.
Keep breakrooms fresh and clean to include sinks, microwaves, dishwasher filters, and trash cans.
Ensure that conference rooms, meeting spaces, and offices are clean and ready to use.
Maintain safety standards by returning moved items and addressing potential hazards.
Monitor cleaning and restroom supplies to ensure adequate stock.
Report safety or maintenance concerns such as leaks or broken equipment to the supervisor.
Safely handle cleaning products and chemicals.
Assist with moving furniture and other items when needed
