Requirements

• Ability to work independently and manage time across assigned areas
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties throughout the school day
• Successful completion of required background checks

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous custodial, janitorial, or facilities experience preferred but not required
• Dependable and punctual — our scholars and staff count on a clean, safe school every day
• Detail-oriented and thorough in completing cleaning tasks with care and consistency
• Able to work independently and manage your time effectively across assigned areas
• Comfortable performing physical duties including lifting up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, classrooms, hallways, and common areas daily
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain various floor surfaces throughout the building
• Empty trash and recycling containers, ensuring proper disposal
• Restock supplies including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed
• Clean windows, mirrors, and fixtures to maintain a polished and professional appearance
• Set up and break down rooms for meetings, events, and special activities as directed
• Follow all safety guidelines and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Report maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly to supervisors
• Secure doors and assigned areas according to school procedures at the end of each day
• Assist with seasonal cleaning, deep cleaning, and other campus maintenance needs as assigned
