About The Position

As a Custodian, you'll play a vital role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our customers and associates. You'll be responsible for maintaining our facilities to the highest standards. Your attention to detail will ensure every space reflects our commitment to excellence. Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurately. But the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.

Requirements

• Responsible and dependable individuals with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment.
• Able to respond to dynamic cleaning and maintenance needs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in all facility areas, including offices, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, elevators, and parking lots.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces following OSHA, federal, state, and local health guidelines.
• Perform custodial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, wet mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash/recycle bins, and cleaning carpets and windows.
• Handle floor care including stripping and waxing.
• Clean electronic devices and fixtures such as microwaves, air ducts, and ceiling tiles.
• Assist with event setups, report facility issues (e.g., leaks, outages), and perform light maintenance as needed.
• Wear required personal protective equipment and follow all safety protocols.
• Demonstrate Walmart’s values by acting with integrity, showing respect, and striving for excellence.
