About The Position
Ambassador Duty Free Detroit is seeking a Custodian employee to join our world-class, growing team. We are seeking enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals who enjoy working in lively, customer centric environments. Our facility is located in a secure U.S. Customs environment and provides visiting guests with a unique shopping experience. Candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background screen.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Availability that includes evenings, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and with a strong sense of urgency
- Versatility – ability to work in our warehouse, in the store, and outdoors
Responsibilities
- Working both indoors and outdoors
- Maintaining the fuel pumps
- General grounds maintenance and custodial tasks
- Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Wash windows, walls, and glass surfaces as needed.
- Unloading trucks, stocking the warehouse, and providing customer service
