About The Position
Perform cleaning duties to keep assigned work area(s) in a clean and orderly condition. May work alone or in a small crew depending on the situation.
Requirements
- Ability to work with others
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn hazards and safety methods related to custodial operations
- Must be responsible to effectively complete assigned cleaning duties independently
- Applicant must be a born-again Christian who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Each applicant must agree with and affirm the Bob Jones University creed, mission and core biblical doctrines regarding areas such as the Bible, the triune God, man and salvation, etc.
- Employees are expected to maintain a conservative lifestyle and support Bob Jones University’s positions on issues such as beverage alcohol and addictive substances, creation, marriage and human sexuality and the sanctity of life, etc.
- Employees are to be active members of a local Bible believing church which holds orthodox theology.
- Applicants must be committed to providing students an excellent, world-class education from a biblical worldview.
Responsibilities
- Floor maintenance (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, etc.)
- Restroom cleaning, sanitation and paper product replenishment
- Trash can emptying
- Other tasks as assigned
