About The Position

This is a temporary custodian position. The role requires a minimum of 2-3 years of cleaning experience, with a preference for at least 1 year in institutional cleaning. The successful candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check to be entrusted with college keys. The position also requires the ability to read and understand product labels, MSDS sheets, work orders, and written instructions. The custodian will work both independently and as part of a team to complete assignments efficiently and in a timely manner. Proficiency in using various custodial equipment is essential.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas.
  • Operate and maintain various types of custodial equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor machines, auto scrubbers, pressure washers, and more.
  • Read and understand product information labels, MSDS sheets, work orders, and written instructions.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with a team to meet work assignment deadlines.
  • Ensure work is carried out properly and efficiently.
