Requirements

Must have basic knowledge and understanding of lock out/tag out (LOTO).
Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Must be able to work around various cleaning solutions, oil, grease, etc.
Must be able to follow verbal instructions and learn to work independently.
Work overtime as required to meet customer’s needs.

Nice To Haves

Basic educational level background normally acquired through the completion of high school level programs leading to a diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs all tasks in a safe manner.
Complies with all plant/company safety and food safety programs and policies.
Removes oil, water, and trash from assigned areas.
Sweeps and maintains floors and aisles in assigned areas.
Cleans various equipments in assigned areas.
Collects, weighs and logs purging.
Maintains master sanitation logs.
Operates various types of cleaning equipment (i.e. vacuum, scrubbers, etc.).
Rotates into all normal Manufacturing Custodian job assignments as needed throughout plant departments.
Performs other duties as assigned.
