About The Position

Beacon Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented person to join their custodial team. This is a part-time position with hours from Monday to Friday, late afternoon to evening. Beacon Group is a non-profit organization that has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities since 1952. They provide job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs. Preference will be given to individuals with a documented disability, as Beacon Group offers extra accommodations and support to help people with disabilities succeed in their jobs.

Requirements

• Must have own transportation to/from work.
• Ability to act in a professional manner and communicate with building tenants and custodial leadership.
• Must be able to pass any background/drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to training as assigned by Custodial Account Manager, Custodial Lead, or designated trainer.
• Adhere to all Beacon Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety, security, and customer site policies.
• Ensure assigned spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash/recycle, organizing furniture, & dusting surfaces.
• Sweep / mop hard surface floors, vacuum carpeted areas.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, urinals, and other restroom/shower fixtures.
• Stock consumable supplies in break areas and restrooms or other areas as assigned by leadership.
• Maintain accountability for assigned facility keys, badges, or other access media.
• Report stolen or misplaced access media to leadership immediately.
• Ability to act in a professional manner and communicate with building tenants and custodial leadership.
• Must be able to pass any background/drug screens.
