About The Position

Reliable Chevrolet Springfield is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian/Maintenance Technician to join our team in Springfield, MO. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of our facility, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for both customers and staff. This position requires working 10-hour shifts on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Monday. Pay will be determined by experience. Requirements

Previous experience in custodial services and/or facility maintenance preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Good communication skills and reliable work ethic.
Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift moderate weights.
Comfortable working on your own
General understanding of regulations that affect building operations, such as OSHA, etc...
Must have a cellphone
Must have a valid driver's license
Background checks and drug screen required

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning and custodial duties throughout the facility, including offices, restrooms, and service areas.
Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and building systems.
Assist with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues as needed.
Ensure all areas comply with health and safety standards and company policies.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance materials; reorder as necessary.
Support special projects and facility upgrades as directed by management.
Report any maintenance concerns or hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and employees
Inspect the interior and exterior of all buildings on the premises and report any discrepancies
Make minor repairs and record specific repair requests from management
Replace defective or worn items (for example, light bulbs)
Landscape and mowing
Snow/ice removal from parking lots and premises
Cleaning of the dealership premises, including collecting trash, cleaning windows/floors, and cleaning restrooms
Painting as needed
Other duties as assigned
