About The Position

GRBS is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Custodian Leads and Supervisors for full-time positions within Battle Creek Public Schools. This role involves ensuring the cleanliness and safety of school facilities while also providing leadership and support to a cleaning team. We are looking for individuals who are 18 years or older, possess leadership experience, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Due to Michigan public school requirements, individuals with theft, violence, or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify for employment. Requirements

18 years of age or older with valid ID.

Responsibilities

Train new hires on building cleaning procedures.
Confirm and communicate staffing levels.
Conduct customer check-ins.
Ensure quality of work through inspections and daily picture documentation.
Secure the building at the end of shifts.
Perform general cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and removing trash.
Complete other cleaning tasks as assigned.
