About The Position

This position cleans and maintains buildings and grounds to ensure they are neat and clean on a daily basis. Work is performed in a normal office environment, with some exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or disagreeable sights and odors.

Requirements

Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to exert the physical energy required to perform housekeeping and minor maintenance work.
Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and climbing.
No formal education or experience is required.
Six months of experience performing general housekeeping duties, or an equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Valid State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks and toilets; polish mirrors and replenish supplies.
Sweep, vacuum, mop, and wax floors; sweep sidewalks.
Clean windows; dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
Clean the kitchen and dining area; wash dishes; clean and defrost the refrigerator; and clean stoves and ovens.
Stock and sort pantry items.
Wash, fold, and store laundry and linens.
Empty trash cans regularly and collect trash from the ground.
