About The Position

Billion Automotive is a family-owned business since 1935, with a strong reputation for customer satisfaction. We are a growing multi-state organization with over 25 locations across Iowa, Minnesota, and South Dakota. Billion Auto of Iowa City is currently seeking a PART TIME CUSTODIAN/JANITOR. This role will primarily focus on custodial duties, with the possibility of some light facility maintenance.

Requirements

Knowledge of machines/tools
Time management and organization skills
Valid driver's license/acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

Cleans the service and customer areas.
Performs routine building maintenance in such a manner as to minimize interruption of customers or employees.
Cleans bathrooms and restocks paper supplies as needed.
Performs general construction duties including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks.
Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.
Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside.
Removes all debris from lot.
Maintains yard equipment and cleaning supplies.
Tends commercial sprinklers and controls.
Mows lawn, trims shrubbery and cultivates flowers.
Waters flower beds and removes debris.
Other tasks as assigned.
