About The Position

The City of Woodstock is accepting applications for two part-time Custodian positions, up to 20 hours per week. These roles will be responsible for performing custodial duties across the Woodstock City Hall, Opera House, and Old Courthouse Center facilities. Duties include cleaning of buildings and grounds, as well as light maintenance tasks as needed. Work is performed under the supervision of the Artistic Operations Director.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force.
• Ability to perform strenuous manual labor including digging, shoveling, sweeping, raking, hauling, crawling, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, and climbing.

Nice To Haves

• Previous custodial experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties for Woodstock City Hall, Opera House, and Old Courthouse Center facilities.
• Clean buildings and grounds.
• Perform light maintenance duties as required.

Benefits

• Accrued Sick Leave - earn one hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked on a prorated basis and available for use after 100 calendar days of employment.
