About The Position
Colorado School of Mines is seeking a Custodian I to join their team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness of facilities, ensuring a safe, comfortable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing campus environment conducive to teaching, learning, and living. The position is primarily for Day Shifts, Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, with potential for rare openings on other shifts. The job is located in Golden, Colorado, at the gateway to the Rocky Mountains.
Requirements
- Six months of experience in custodial work or closely-related work
- Experience includes sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, general dusting and vacuuming within an office/school environment
- Residency in the State of Colorado at the time of application
Nice To Haves
- Previous custodial experience as a state employee
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
