Under supervision, this position keeps assigned buildings orderly, prepares rooms for meetings, keeps floors clean, replaces burned out light bulbs. Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or its equivalent
- A minimum of one year of janitorial experience.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
Responsibilities
- Sweeps, scrubs, strips and waxes floors.
- Dusts and polishes furniture and woodwork.
- Restocks cleaning supplies.
- Empties and cleans waste receptacles, washes windows and walls.
- Assists in moving and arranging furniture and equipment.
- Replaces all burned out light bulbs and reports any hazards found.
- Vacuums carpets and intake structure for HVAC.
- Cleans sinks, commodes, lavatory, kitchen, lunchroom, etc.
- Puts deicer on sidewalks and stairs in the winter time.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
