About The Position

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, the Custodian I maintains an assigned school plant, group of buildings, or office space in a clean, orderly, and secure manner. Incumbents perform general custodial work for an assigned school plant or installation. The position is at Orangewood Elementary, with hours from 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Applicants must submit a Classified Edjoin Application, a resume, and at least three signed letters of reference that are less than one year old, including one from an immediate supervisor. Electronic signatures are not accepted. Applications and documents must be submitted through EdJoin by the deadline.

Applicants recommended for employment must complete required pre-employment steps before formal Board of Education approval. These include a Mantoux Tuberculin Test within 60 days of the hire date, drug screening at a District-approved facility, fingerprint clearance, and required certifications and trainings.

Requirements

• Have sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed in the job description.

• Complete required Bloodborne Pathogens, Child Abuse Mandated Reporter, Injury and Illness Prevention Program, School Bullying, Anti-Harassment, Cybersecurity, and Email and Messaging certifications or trainings.
