About The Position
Responsible for the cleanliness of the vessel and pavilion areas. This includes sweeping, mopping, polishing, cleaning, scrubbing, dusting, vacuuming, and collecting trash. The role involves operating various cleaning equipment such as extractors, stripping/buffing machines, backpack vacuums, walk-behind vacuums, and traditional vacuum cleaners. The custodian will use a variety of cleaning chemicals, climb and work from a ten-foot ladder, and engage in extensive walking during working hours. Responsibilities also include pulling large amounts of trash from garbage cans, emptying mobile trash carts, cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and fixtures, and ensuring restrooms are supplied with necessary items. Additionally, the custodian will wash walls, doors, windows, mirrors, and equipment, and perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by a supervisor or manager.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Understand importance of customer service.
- Operate equipment listed above.

- Clean and disinfect rest rooms and fixtures; keep rest rooms supplied with towels, soap and other supplies as needed.

- Perform all relative miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor/manager.
