Custodian I - Public - On Call
About The Position
Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Custodian I - Public - On Call. This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining public areas such as hallways, lobbies, stairways, and locker rooms. The custodian will also deliver and retrieve items like rollaway beds, irons, and ironing boards to guest rooms. Maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas, including picking up trash and debris, is a key responsibility. The role also involves property clean-up, including bio-chemical materials, stocking linen supplies, and ensuring preventative care of equipment and supplies. Other duties may be assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum age 21 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods for majority of shift.
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one year cleaning experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain public areas e.g. hallways, lobbies, stairways, locker rooms, etc.
- Deliver and retrieve rollaway beds, irons, ironing boards, and other items to guest rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas; pick up and remove trash and debris.
- Responsible for property clean up including bio-chemical material.
- Stock linen supplies in linen closets; load and unload linen carts.
- Ensure preventative care of equipment and supplies.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
