About The Position

Facilities Management is entrusted with the development, care, maintenance, and operation of Colorado State University’s physical properties. Our purpose is to create and sustain environments that support CSU’s land-grant mission, fostering the success of students, faculty, and staff through world-class academic, research, and outreach programs. This custodial pool will be recruiting positions to work the 4:00 pm - 12:30 a.m. shift, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Six months of custodial services experience in an institutional or commercial environment.
Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires)
Pre-employment Physical
Essential Services Designation
Shift Work
On-call Status
In-person

Responsibilities

Perform routine custodial services, including but not limited to cleaning, sanitizing and stocking of restrooms, removal of trash and recyclable materials, window and entry glass cleaning, carpeted and hardfloor maintenance including vacuuming, spot cleaning and extracting of carpeted floors and vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, burnishing, stripping and refinishing of hard surface floors.
Provide for building access and security through snow removal services both within the regular Monday through Friday work schedule as well as on weekends as necessary and through daily unlock and lock up services.
Provide custodial support for athletic events at Moby Arena and Canvas Stadium both within the regular Monday through Friday work schedule as well as on weekends when necessary.
