About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian / Housekeeping professional to join our team at Stoneybrook Golf & Country Club of Palmer Ranch in Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for Members, Staff, Visitors, and Patrons. Applicant will work in conjunction with the Housekeeping crew and Maintenance staff. Must be able to communicate well with others and willingness to assist others.

Requirements

Previous experience as a custodian or in housekeeping preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Must be able to communicate well with others and willingness to assist others.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any maintenance needs.
Ensure all areas are kept neat and organized.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Respond promptly to cleaning requests and emergencies as needed.
