About The Position
This is a full-time, 12-month position for a Head Custodian effective with the 2026-2027 school year. The pay rate is based on the Custodian Salary Scale, with credit given for years of full-time experience in a related position.
Requirements
- High school graduate/GED or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment and ability to use them economically and efficiently.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions.
- Ability to get along well with others.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as head custodian or other leadership role in a cleaning/housekeeping operation preferred.
- Considerable janitorial and grounds maintenance experience.
- Experience as a semi-skilled handyman preferred.
