About The Position

Under the supervision of a Property and Facilities Coordinator or Supervisor, takes day to day direction from the Head Custodian while performing Janitorial functions that include cleaning and minor maintenance tasks at Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton and Ingham counties’ owned/contracted facilities. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/subunit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Physically able to perform repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds
• Physically able to operate a variety of Janitorial equipment (floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, etc.)
• May be required to have access to reliable means of transportation for job related use
• Must be able to pass pre-employment 5-panel drug screen
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical
• Must submit an employment application. Resumes cannot be substituted for the employment application.

Benefits

• Shift Incentive: + $1.25/hour for hours worked 5pm – 12am
• + $2/hour for hours worked 12am – 8am
• + $3/hour for weekends worked Friday 5pm – Monday 8am
