About The Position

Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM) is seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and trustworthy individual with outstanding customer service skills for a Part-Time Custodial position in Eleele, HI. The ideal candidate should be able to follow instructions (reading and writing in English) and be detail-oriented. HBM has been providing quality service since 1957 and is one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. This is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions (reading and writing in English)
Detail oriented
Valid Hawaii driver’s license
Reliable transportation
Must successfully pass the HBM prescreen check
Candidates must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach (including overhead), grasp objects, kneel, crawl, squat, climb, stoop, stretch, press, push, pull, carry, and lift a minimum of 25 to 50 pounds.
Must be able to drive a golf cart.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in custodial, housekeeping, or a related field
High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Cleaning and maintaining the commercial location, which involves: Sweeping, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing
Cleaning restrooms and office/storage areas
Maintaining the parking lot
Pressure washing the commercial space
Removing trash and replacing liners, disposing of waste in designated areas
Restocking supplies
Performing other tasks as directed by the HBM supervisor
