Nice To Haves

• Willing to work in Spring City, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
• Willing to work 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with rotating days and weekends to be determined.
• Work experience as a custodian, janitor, or cleaning person. This experience may include cleaning restrooms; cleaning resident rooms, offices, or public areas; and performing tasks such as mopping, scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, or buffing.
• Work experience in an assisted living facility, nursing home, or hospital
• Work experience interacting with patients or residents while cleaning in-patient or resident rooms or in a dining room setting
• Work experience cleaning bodily fluids and disposing infectious waste in proper storage areas

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning in resident rooms, common spaces, offices, and specialized areas
• Carry out regular tasks such as mopping, dusting, polishing, and buffing surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Remove trash, dispose of recyclables, and manage infectious waste appropriately
• Rearrange, sanitize, and organize resident rooms before occupation
• Maintain safe conditions, report hazards, and use protective equipment when required
