About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining all buildings, property, equipment, and landscaping for the site. The Custodial Technician will ensure all buildings are kept clean, including cleaning and maintaining restrooms, emptying wastebaskets, and operating floor scrubbing machinery. The position also involves picking up trash and debris from parking lots and exterior trash cans, maintaining tools and equipment, and demonstrating a strong commitment to safety procedures. Other duties may include moving furniture, unloading supplies, and working overtime as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
OR any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; OR 5 years’ experience in a related field
Safe driver's needed; valid driver's license required

Nice To Haves

Good communication and organizational skills required.
Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
Medium strength. Ability to lift 1-50 pounds.
Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Custodial duties

Responsibilities

Maintain all buildings, property, equipment, and landscaping for the site.
Clean and pick up trash/debris from parking lots and exterior trash cans.
Clean and maintain restrooms.
Operate floor scrubbing machinery and maintain clean auction house floors.
Maintain all buildings, property and equipment for the site.
Ensure all buildings are kept clean.
Empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and comply with applicable safety rules.
Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, i.e., moving furniture, unloading and storing supplies, etc.
May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.
