About The Position

Dale Rogers Training Center (DRTC) is seeking a reliable, motivated Custodial Supervisor to support custodial operations at our Main Campus in Oklahoma City, OK. This role is essential in ensuring that all assigned buildings meet cleaning standards while providing leadership, guidance, and support to custodial staff. The Custodial Supervisor plays a hands-on role in daily operations—conducting inspections, assisting with training, performing custodial duties when needed, and ensuring staff have the tools and direction required to succeed. This position directly contributes to DRTC’s mission by promoting high-quality service, professionalism, and accountability across all custodial projects.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have valid, REAL ID-compliant, driver's license
  • Steady employment history
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills required
  • Knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures
  • Knowledge of custodial chemicals and safety practices
  • Knowledge of floor stripping, waxing, and floor finishing
  • Knowledge of custodial equipment operation and maintenance
  • Must have Experience working in large facilities as well as multiple floors and buildings
  • Ability to pass all required state, federal, and agency required background checks

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum two (2) years of custodial, janitorial, facilities, or housekeeping supervisory experience strongly preferred. (Other leadership experience will be considered)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct custodial crew
  • Train employees (new hires and ongoing training)
  • Ensure proper use of custodial chemicals, equipment, floor care products, and cleaning procedures.
  • Monitor attendance and ensure timely arrival to work sites
  • Maintain professional communication with clients, management, and team members.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to customer requests and concerns.
  • Address employee and operational issues per agency procedures
  • Participate in special events and emergency response activities as required
  • Submit payroll and required documentation accurately and on time
  • Schedule staff to meet task and frequency requirements
  • Ensure assigned areas meet quality standards
