Requirements

• Must be a US citizen and must be eligible to obtain and maintain clearance
• Candidate must be able to work independently in a secure or sensitive environment
• Minimum 10 years of experience in facilities management or custodial related work
• High school, vocational, or trade school diploma or equivalent
• Computer proficiency required along with good English reading and writing skills

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all custodial and pest control personnel, subcontractors, and schedules
• Ensure custodial staff compliance with the Contractor’s Emergency Response Plan, Safety Plan, and Environmental Compliance Plan
• Oversee and maintain custodial supplies
• Effectively interface with the client verbally and in writing
• Use innovative approaches, technology, and other means and methods to develop and perform the most efficient cleaning services for the building
• Reduce the environmental impacts of work performed under the contract by using environmentally sound practices, processes, and products
• Assist the Government in managing the recycling program
• Manage and provide oversight for non-hazardous waste removal
• Develop custodial staff requirements based on an occupied facility to determine the right mix of staff to meet the client’s needs
• Manage and direct custodial staff to meet daily needs of client, based on their requests and input
• Other duties as assigned

• Competitive salary of $70,000 to $85,000/year depending on experience
