About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting daily operations related to customer service, processing of classified materials for destruction, accountable asset management, and other tasks related to Logistics, government materials, customer service, and government O&M processes and procedures. The role requires an active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.

Requirements

  • Must have an active (or ability to obtain) TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance
  • A combination of education and directly related experience equal to one (1) year; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
  • U.S. citizen
  • Must demonstrate basic computer knowledge (I.e., ability to use email, internet, Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel, to effectively conduct company business on the program). Some positions may require an increased level of computer knowledge, depending on the required duties of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of tasks relating to the performance of the property disposal system through the areas of reutilization, transfer, donation or transfer
  • Serves as the appointed Custodial Property Officer for actions relating to the disposition and acquisition of Government-owned property
  • Leads team to accomplish statement of work and customer requirements
  • Responsible for creating and reviewing job instructions for daily tasks
  • Performing physical verification of property; determining appropriate method of disposal; accounting for all government and contractor inventory
  • Responsible for examination, review, and disposition of government and contractor accountable equipment to include: accumulation and segregation of scrap and IT peripherals, palletizing of equipment, and administrative oversight
  • Conducts all work tasks in accordance with all customer, local, and government regulations and policies
  • Ensures adequate control and care of government property, property accountability, maintenance, and appropriate utilization of Government property
  • Performs a wide variety of technical tasks relating to property disposal system through reutilization, transfer, and donation of excess property involving a large variety of specialized items and equipment
  • Oversees preparation of property for disposal in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding storage, movement, and disposition with specific priority regarding hazardous material, environmental issues, and/or demilitarization
  • Ensures property is efficiently and effectively accounted and advertised to internal and external organizations for screening
  • Contributes innovative approaches to resolving problems and improving processes
  • Provides advice to logistic officers, other specialists, contractors, and representatives of other departments/agencies on matters related to property accountability
  • Adhere to all site safety policy and procedures; report incidents immediately to supervisor
  • Provide proper handling controls of electrostatic Discharge (ESD) items
  • Provide customer service and support to multiple organizations within a secure facility
  • Effectively handle conflict resolution and conduct work task
  • Ensure all material received corresponds with packing lists
  • Ensure proper handling of all sensitive or classified materials and equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Perform customer service activities to include but not limited to, answering telephones, communicating with site customers, and following up to ensure work task completion.
  • Seek, make recommendations, and implement continuous process improvements
  • Resolve document/material discrepancies as required
  • Operate government or Fluor owned vehicles and equipment required to complete daily duties
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
  • Execute annual and periodical inventories, provide results and reconcile discrepancies
  • Ensure proper handling of all sensitive, classified, and/or hazardous materials and equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
