About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Custodial Project Manager to oversee all custodial operations across multiple client locations in and around Columbus, Georgia. In this senior leadership role, you will manage field supervisors and custodial staff, ensure contract compliance, maintain client relationships, and drive quality and efficiency across all sites. The ideal candidate is a decisive, organized leader with a strong background in commercial cleaning operations and people management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in custodial, janitorial, or facilities management – required
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience overseeing supervisors and multi-site teams – required
  • Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning operations, equipment, and chemical safety standards
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining high service quality
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in scheduling, reporting, and record-keeping
  • Must be flexible with shift availability; days, nights, and weekends required based on business needs
  • Proficiency with basic computer tools for reporting, scheduling, and communication
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation required

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all custodial operations across multiple client sites, ensuring consistent service quality and contract compliance
  • Directly manage and support Field Supervisors; provide leadership, direction, and accountability across all sites
  • Travel between locations daily to conduct site inspections, address operational issues, and evaluate performance
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, staffing plans, and operational procedures across all accounts
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and train custodial supervisors and staff; foster a culture of accountability and professionalism
  • Conduct performance evaluations for supervisors; manage disciplinary matters and escalate to senior management as needed
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts; build strong relationships and resolve service concerns promptly
  • Monitor supply and equipment inventory across all locations; manage procurement and cost-efficiency
  • Track labor hours, review timekeeping records, and assist with payroll accuracy and reporting
  • Prepare and submit operational reports, inspection logs, and performance metrics to senior management
  • Ensure all staff comply with OSHA safety regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management
