About The Position

We are looking for energetic people to join our Operations and Cleaning Team at the Ames Center in Burnsville! Pay begins at $18/hour. This role involves a combination of daytime, night, and weekend hours, with responsibilities including setting up and striking events (tables, chairs, furniture, occasional staging), and cleaning before, during, and after events. The ideal candidate will be a team player, courteous to guests, and able to handle physical demands.

Requirements

• Flexible schedule and willingness to work a combination of daytime, night, and weekend hours
• Willingness to set up and strike events (tables, chairs, furniture, occasional staging) in addition to cleaning before, during, and after events
• Willingness to collaborate with co-workers and be a team player
• Open to working with guests and patrons in a courteous manner
• Able to regularly lift 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors
• Wash walls, woodwork, and windows
• Vacuum and extract carpets
• Clean and stock restrooms
• Remove trash, recycling, and compostable material
• Assist in the setting of tables, chairs, and other equipment for events.
