About The Position
The Custodial Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the production floor, surrounding areas, and facility grounds. This role ensures a safe, clean, and efficient working environment by supporting daily housekeeping and waste management tasks.
Requirements
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use cleaning equipment properly
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Good communication skills and teamwork
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
- Adaptability in a fast-paced production environment
Responsibilities
- Pick up trash daily across all production lines
- Sweep and clean production floors, including sewing areas
- Collect and transport trash to designated dumpsters
- Break down and fold cardboard, placing it in the appropriate recycling containers
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including garden spaces and parking lots
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and hazard-free
- Follow all safety procedures and facility guidelines
- Communicate effectively with employees across departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
