About The Position

The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank is seeking a Custodial Assistant to join their finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance in various office spaces, kitchen, bathrooms, volunteer breakroom, and common areas. The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank's mission is to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin counties by providing nutritious food through a network of community partners, enrollment assistance, home-delivered groceries, and policy/advocacy efforts. They serve approximately 42,000 households weekly, with a focus on fresh fruits and vegetables.

Responsibilities

Maintain clean, sanitize, organize, and well-stock office and shared employee spaces, including office spaces and equipment, conference rooms, warehouse office, kitchen, warehouse breakroom, and office and warehouse bathrooms.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels and replenish kitchen, breakroom, office, and bathroom supplies.
Maintain the Welcome Center in a clean, organized, and presentable condition.
Support Facilities with kitchen and breakroom amenities, uniforms, office and first aid supplies.
Assist with monthly eye-wash station and fire extinguisher checks.
Provide support to the Warehouse Custodian as needed.
Provide Facilities support for organizational events as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
