About The Position

As a member of the Student Services team, the Curriculum Specialist provides leadership and assists with a wide variety of curriculum and instructional activities. These include curriculum development and integration, assessments and data analysis, effective strategies and practices, evaluation of program effectiveness, grant writing and management, and building strong partnerships with Student Services staff and the community. The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools office serves as an intermediate service agency between the California Department of Education and the 33 school districts in San Bernardino County. It works with school districts, other agencies, families, and the community to address the educational needs of children county-wide, with a focus on students.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Education or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Valid California Teaching Credential.
Valid California Administrative Services Credential or Certificate of Eligibility (COE).
Three years of teaching experience.
Experience in curriculum development, instructional methodology, and assessment.
Two years of experience developing and conducting presentations.
Two years of experience in a lead or advisory position.
Valid California Driver’s License required before starting employment.
