About The Position

gTANGIBLE Corporation (gTC) is seeking a Currency Destruction Technician for the Western Currency Facility (WCF) at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) in Fort Worth, TX. This is a full-time, contingent position requiring a High Public Trust security clearance. gTC is an S corporation and a registered Government contractor providing services in National Security Programs, Professional, Administrative, and Management Support, and Mission and Warfighter Support. We are a Small Business Administration certified, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with experienced leadership in Government contracting.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the administrative or security field.
  • Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Demonstrated history of not being a potential threat to the health, safety, security, general well-being, or operational mission of the facility.
  • Present a neat and clean appearance and have a history of superior personal and professional conduct.
  • Intermediate level computer skills that possess experience to work with multiple worksheets, filter data and use integration functions.
  • Possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
  • May not be an employee of the U.S. Government at the time of employment with gTANGIBLE.

  • Knowledge and experience providing quality customer service to Government employees, military personnel, contractors, and/or visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Placing unfit currency notes/sheets on a conveyor belt or into a gondola and placing unfit plates into a shredding machine.
  • Successfully complete Government-provided training (classroom, online, and hand-on) and perform the tasks as taught for WCF Destruction Procedures and other related training (e.g., IT Security Awareness, Operations Security, Safety and Environmental Health, Security Procedures).
  • Obey, abide by and comply with all federal, state and local environmental, health and safety regulations, as applicable to the work performed and the location of the work.
  • Comply with the requirements and procedures established through the BEP WCF Environmental Management System (EMS).
  • Perform mail screening duties which require lifting items of a weight not to exceed 50 pounds to a height of four feet so they may be loaded into a bin or placed in a screening machine.
