About The Position

This position fulfills customers’ online curbside orders and drives customer loyalty and satisfaction by providing fast, friendly, and accurate order fulfillment and payment collection at the curbside pickup area. The role involves working positively with customers, team members, and leadership; responding courteously to customer questions and needs; and promptly involving leadership to resolve complaints when needed. The employee receives daily workflow from a dashboard, selects and bags products according to store standards, stages products in accordance with food safety guidelines, greets customers, and collects payment. The position also maintains a clean and neat work environment and may involve other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent required.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Strong communication skills.
General awareness of food safety regulations.
Detail oriented and organized.
Process driven, with the ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.

Nice To Haves

1–3 years of experience in a Meijer store.
Past cashier experience.

Responsibilities

Fulfill customers’ online curbside orders with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
Provide courteous and friendly service to customers in person and by phone, and respond to their questions and needs.
Resolve customer complaints promptly by contacting leadership when needed.
Receive daily workflow from the dashboard and fulfill orders.
Select products within the store and bag them according to bagging standards.
Store products correctly in the staging area while following food safety guidelines.
Greet each customer and collect payment for the order.
Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
