Culture and Engagement Intern Job Summary The Culture & Engagement Intern will contribute to national inclusion, culture, and engagement efforts that advance a more inclusive, connected, and high-performing workplace. This role offers hands-on exposure to strategic culture work, change management, and cross-functional collaboration while building practical skills in research, communication, and stakeholder engagement. The intern will work with the Inclusion team and report to the National Director of Culture and Engagement. In this role, they will interface with Skanska’s Inclusion Councils and working groups, as well as business partners such as Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, to coordinate engagement activities, carry out inclusion‑related tasks, and contribute to culture project workflows across the organization.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Sociology, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or related discipline.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Comfortable using and learning digital tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, SharePoint, and MS Forms.
