The Culture and Climate Associate (CCA) serves as a proactive leader in cultivating a positive school culture by promoting student engagement, fostering meaningful relationships, and supporting the implementation of school-wide culture initiatives. The CCA supports students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success by implementing behavior intervention strategies, providing individualized support, and fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. This role proactively supports school culture through relationship-building, restorative practices, student engagement initiatives, and collaboration with staff. Working closely with teachers, counselors, special education staff, and school leadership, the CCA helps students develop positive behaviors, self-regulation skills, and healthy relationships that contribute to academic achievement. The CCA works in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, offices, and other school settings. The position requires frequent interaction with students, staff, families, and community partners in a fast-paced educational environment. At GGA, the Culture and Climate Associate serves as a positive role model who helps cultivate leadership, confidence, accountability, and sisterhood while ensuring students experience a respectful, engaging, and joyful school environment. The Culture and Climate Associate reports directly to the Director of Culture.
