About The Position

The Cultural Resources Technician provides artifact cleaning, labeling, sorting, bagging, analyzing, and documentation. Performs specialized artifact analysis or laboratory test procedures. Provides guidance, trains, and/or may oversee other laboratory staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of cultural resources research and/or curation experience; OR associate's degree and two (2) years of cultural resources research and/or curation experience; OR bachelor's degree and some cultural resources research and/or curation experience.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • At least 19 years of age at time of hire
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report in compliance with University policies
  • Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation and information obtained from social media and other internet sources.
