About The Position

The Cultivation Technician supports the health, development, and maintenance of cannabis plants throughout the cultivation cycle, with a primary focus on the vegetative stage. This position performs daily plant care, propagation, transplanting, pruning, irrigation, environmental monitoring, and sanitation duties. The Cultivation Technician may also assist other areas of cultivation as operational needs require while following company procedures and Arizona regulatory requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous cannabis cultivation, horticulture, agriculture, or plant-care experience preferred but not required.
Basic understanding of plant health and the cannabis growth cycle is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to maintain clean, sanitary, and organized work areas.
Willingness to assist across different stages and areas of cultivation.
Must meet all Arizona requirements for employment within a licensed cannabis facility, including obtaining and maintaining a valid Facility Agent Card.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
Must be comfortable working on ladders and on double stack veg racks.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work around plants, growing media, nutrients, fertilizers, and approved pest-management products.
Ability to work in warm, humid, and brightly lit cultivation environments while wearing required personal protective equipment.
Must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or the Arizona Department of Health Services, pursuant to A.R.S. § 36-2804.01.
Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of the criminal background check conducted by the Arizona Department of Health Services, pursuant to A.R.S. §36-2804.01 and A.R.S. §36-2801.10.
Valid Arizona State-Issued ID.

Responsibilities

Perform daily plant care throughout the cultivation cycle, with an emphasis on vegetative plant growth and development.
Assist with pot filling, transplanting, topping, pruning, training, defoliation, plant spacing, and table cleaning reset.
Water and feed plants according to established irrigation and nutrient schedules.
Monitor plants for signs of stress, nutrient deficiencies, pests, diseases, or other irregularities and promptly report concerns to management.
Support plant movement and room transitions according to cultivation and production schedules.
Monitor and document environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, lighting, and airflow.
Maintain accurate plant labels, counts, logs, and other required cultivation records.
Assist the flowering, harvest, and other cultivation teams as operational needs require.
Clean and sanitize cultivation rooms, tools, equipment, trays, irrigation components, and work areas.
Assist with integrated pest management activities under the direction of authorized team members.
Properly record and dispose of plant waste in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
Follow all safety, sanitation, security, and compliance procedures.
Work collaboratively with cultivation and production teams to meet quality and production goals.
Complete additional cultivation-related duties as assigned.
