The Cultivation Technician is responsible for assisting with all aspects of Vytal Option's cultivation operations from seeding to harvest. This position will be located at our facility in Duncannon and serve as a critical member of the cultivation team.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Demonstrated verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as an individual contributor.
- Ability to work all shifts, as needed, and maintain punctuality as well as attendance.
- All candidates selected for employment will be required to successfully complete a background check and drug screening prior to their start date. Employment is contingent upon passing these screenings. Drug Screens do not screen for THC.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a horticulture environment preferred but not required.
- Self-motivation including an ability to learn and improve.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to daily maintenance and monitoring of all plants; immediately report concerns to a supervisor to ensure overall health of the crop.
- Filling, watering, and trimming of plants.
- Verify labels are placed properly with coordinating plant.
- Ensure daily compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to state compliance, security and safety protocols, and standard operating procedures as well as internal trainings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
