About The Position

The Cultivation Technician is responsible for performing plant maintenance according to standard operating procedures in the vegetation and flowering rooms, monitoring plant health, and ensuring adherence to all applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines. This role involves working as part of a team to meet production schedules, maintaining accurate records, and utilizing the BioTrack seed-to-sale tracking program. The position requires a willingness to work hard, learn daily, and contribute to a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Working longer hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.
Working indoors as well as outdoors during all seasonal temperatures and weather conditions.
Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
Ability to perform tasks sitting, standing, stretching, walking, bending, reaching and perform repetitive motions.
Ability to work as a team player.
At least 21 years of age.
Ability to pass a Federal background check.
Must be willing and able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Good communication skills with co-workers and management.

Nice To Haves

Greenhouse experience a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform plant maintenance using standard operating procedures within the vegetation and flowering rooms.
Monitor plant health.
Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines, including the safe and proper operation of machinery, instrumentation, and equipment.
Work as a team to meet production schedules.
Practice good housekeeping habits, including mopping floors, sanitizing work spaces, and sweeping.
Maintain accurate records of daily production and communicate them to management.
Understand and apply the use of BioTrack, our seed to sale tracking program.
