We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cultivation Technician to support the daily operations of our cannabis cultivation facility in Norwich, CT. This role is vital to ensuring the health and productivity of our plants through all stages of growth. You'll work closely with the Cultivation Manager and team to carry out essential tasks including cloning, transplanting, feeding, trimming, pest control, environmental monitoring, harvesting, and recordkeeping.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in cannabis cultivation or a related agricultural field OR relevant industry-recognized education/training.
  • Familiarity with cultivation software and data entry processes.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must successfully complete a post-offer background check and meet state licensing/credentialing criteria.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of pest management, fertigation, and overall plant health preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily cultivation tasks including cloning, transplanting, pruning, feeding, harvesting, trimming, and curing cannabis plants.
  • Apply pest management strategies, including pesticide application in compliance with SOPs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all cultivation areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Monitor plant health, environmental controls, and soil conditions; collect and input data as required.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
  • Achieve productivity goals set by management.
  • Support the implementation of cultivation strategies and contribute to process improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and assist in mentoring new staff as needed.
  • Use computers and technology to log data and access cultivation management systems.
  • Operate in alignment with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and company standards
